Dr. Courtney Canepa joined Legacy Veterinary Clinic in June 2016. She is from a small acreage outside Fort Worth, Texas where she lived with her family, horses, dogs and cats, and spent summers working for local veterinarians. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pepperdine University in 2009, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2013. She then completed a one-year internship with a specialty veterinary hospital in San Antonio, Texas before joining a small animal practice there. Clinically, she continues to pursue her special interests in preventative care medicine, dentistry, and diagnostic ultrasound. In her free time she loves hiking in the Colorado Mountains with her husband and two dogs, and also enjoys riding her horse that was born on her childhood farm.
