Dr. Khorsand grew up in Illinois where he spent most of his time outdoors fishing, boating, and hanging
out with friends. He grew up with Golden Retrievers, hamsters, gerbils, and lizards. Matt always seemed to find and take in animals that were dumped outside his neighborhood which included a farm duck, cat, and St. Bernard.
